John Catlow (Musical Director)

John was born in Lancashire and trained as a cellist at the Royal Manchester College of Music. This was followed by a long and varied career with the London Symphony Orchestra, Halle Orchestra and English National Opera. In 1981 John decided on a career change and was appointed Director of Music at the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School and later as Director of Music at the Camden High School for Girls, famous for its high standard of musical performance (1987-2010) and also for the Lynmore Singers (2004-2010). We were delighted to welcome John to Horringer Singers, as our new Musical Director in January 2012.  For more information, please visit John’s website.
